Ingredients

Pita Taco Filling

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast, sliced into juicy strips

  • 3 tbsp olive oil (the good one)

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp ground cumin

  • Sea salt & cracked black pepper, to taste

  • 4–6 soft, pillowy pita breads

  • 1 cup cool, creamy tzatziki

Simple ingredients. Big Mediterranean energy.

Method

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season chicken with oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes.
  • Warm pita breads until soft and pliable.
  • Fill pita with chicken, vegetables, feta, and tzatziki.
  • Serve immediately with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.

Helpful Tips

Serve straight away while everything’s warm, juicy, and at peak deliciousness — that first bite is when the pita is soft, the chicken is tender, and the tzatziki is gloriously cool against it all.
