  • 2 oz rum – the smooth, sunny backbone of the cocktail.

  • 2 oz simple syrup – just enough sweetness to balance the citrus pop.

  • Juice of 1 blood orange – bold, ruby-red citrus with a slightly berry-like edge.

  • Juice of ½ lime – sharp, zesty lift to keep it crisp.

  • ¼ cup fresh raspberries, juiced and strained – mash them well and strain out the seeds for a smooth, vibrant berry finish.

  • Sparkling water – for that light, fizzy sparkle.

  • Ice – plenty, because this drink is best served icy-cold and refreshing.

Method

1. Wake Up the Mint
